Serving Guidelines

As a general guideline, remove cake from refrigeration:

4 to 5 hours before serving a white cake of any size
2 to 3 hours before serving a cake 10" or smaller
4 to 5 hours before serving a cake 12" or larger
1 hour before serving cupcakes
Do not leave cakes in direct sunlight
Do not leave cakes inside car (direct sunlight and/or heat may cause the cake to break down and collapse)
Do not travel with cakes that already have reached room temperature cakes may break down and collapse
Serve cake at room temperature
